The Star closures hold good when you tighten properly. However, I also do not change often the weights.
Very rarely do I have to tighten the fasteners times.
The textured grips are a little less rough than, say, the my dumbbells. With wet hands, it may therefore be a bit slippery (-> Gloves).
The price / performance ratio is of course great and for me was when purchasing essential.
One point deduction there because of the maximum load, which is not specified in the product description and is also available on any list enclosed in the delivery.
On request at Movit / maxxstore I had to learn that this is only at 45kg (!!!). In advanced training so you have to upgrade to higher quality equipment.
As a beginner like me you have this weight naturally first reach. I have at the moment only 17,5kg + box = 25kg of weight, but I would feel more comfortable with a purely psychological another model. Other providers that are not much more expensive to go here to 100 or even 180 kg.
Overall, I'm with the Movit curl bar still very happy because it is the right place to get started and you have not spent so much money, but if you lose interest.
