I was looking for a power adapter for my used mainly for office applications and Internet expeditions second PC, with a not very power hungry graphics card, Intel Core 2 Duo - is processor, 2 GB RAM, 2 SATA hard disks and a DVD burner equipped ,
In this respect, a 420-W power supply seemed sufficient.
The LC Power LC420H-12 offered here, I then myself - also due to the low price - closer concerned and decided to buy.
For those who complain here about his lack of plug one sort or another, not supplied power cable, too little power etc.: Imagine there is a possibility before purchasing (!!!) on the Internet to inform !!
LC-Power even has its own website [...] which is for voice muffle even in German !!!!
The LC420H-12 can be found there under the heading "Office series." LC-Power has there even suggest that it is this power supply to an "office power supply for the entry-level" is. Who then is concerned also with the offered technical overview for this power supply gets even hear other relevant data. This also includes the number and type of known connector. The data sheet (in PDF format), you can even print them out if you want to have it because to lie further to compare directly in front of him.
From the Concurrent Provision of mounting accessories or power cord is mentioned nowhere. To complain and to evaluate a product badly because something is not included which was not offered as a delivery, or because you are not able or willing was to obtain information before buying, is quite remarkable. About the "quality" of these reviews probably needs no further discussion.
And who then also speaks in this context of "China-bangers", has probably permanently disqualified. A majority of the displaced also from reputable manufacturers power supplies is hergetellt in China and "relabeled".
So, back to the power supply: In my computer configuration it runs smoothly now the fourth day (in 24-hour operation). The fan of the power supply provides sufficient cooling. The smell described by other reviewers, I can not tell, though I sniffed my olfactory bulb every now and then on the power supply. The operating noise is acceptable, a whistling o. Ä. I also can not hear. There was no computer crashes, and therefore no one could blame the power supply.
Thus, the power supply does yet exactly what it is needed.
Conclusion:
Who extender system supports calls his own, which is not very power hungry, is likely to be quite well advised with this power supply. For this price you can there actually nothing wrong.
28/07/2012:
The power supply is now since the installation in February 2012 in the nearly "24/7" - operation and still works flawlessly. And as can now be seen on the indication "Amazon Verified Purchase", I have the power supply actually. Would be nice if Amazon would ensure that reviews only for possible who have purchased the products here as well. Then an "experts" be spared, obviously neither in use nor have owned an item but still rate it and think they have the brightest crayon eaten (which is worth noting that with regard to the evaluation of this power supply some of the "negative reviews" not even two blocks in succession without errors - spelling, not a typo, point error I forgive, because I'm not even the best - is to be written in a position to try here but to sell as electronics expert) ....
Anyway, I am still looking forward to the described by some "experts" here probably inevitable "fireworks" ;-)
Oh, to the commentator: Right, power supplies, I have no idea. I prefer to also build a power supply and it's me "damn" the thing up as internally and what's technically "better" or "worse". Functioning to it. However, I do not like it when someone makes generalising statements, as happened here. It is here specifically to a product. And this product, it is important to assess. Nothing else. Since I am and certainly the overwhelming majority of all the other customers then be grateful if the only do the people who have the product also owning and in use. Thank you.
