by now using the catchy Acer X1373WH 3D WXGA DLP projector (3,000 ANSI lumens, contrast 13.000: 1, WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels, HD Ready, 1x HDMI / MHL with HDCP support) knows I want to ask my review available.
Packaging / perceived quality:
The projector is supplied in a small but sufficiently large packaging. The projector and the remote control are the price processed in accordance with value and make a good impression. It is next to a Quick Start Guide, a detailed on CD for download. There is also a VGA cable (if you want to connect the projector to a computer for example.
As the industry standard, an HDMI cable is necessary to define separated. Here you should be set due to the 3D playback capability, an HDMI cable with standard 1.4a.
Initial start-up
The unit has all the necessary connectivity options logically and prominently marked on the back. If you time the remote does not want to use, so you can restart the device and on the top. Whoever therefore wants to have only the normal viewing experience in large, can safely access, where you are of course not prepared for the future.
Sooner or later, these stations at full HD, or even upgrade to 4K. However, until 4K is ever implemented, presumably is already a new projector in your home.
Who rather in the 3D area would play in Full HD his films, should reconsider buying again. Here I personally buying a Full HD projector for meaningful, but these costs evenly also still some extra cash.
How is the picture?
Was tested with a PlayStation 3, so that the 3D capabilities as well as playing a BluRay was guaranteed. In addition, I have my HDTV cable box so tested.
With its 3,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 13,000: 1, the projector is also during the day. The picture is my feeling after a very sharp and colorful. Despite the 3,000 ANSI lumens an outdoor operation is in sufficient sun rays but not implemented. Here you should buy at least a shady spot or a small tent for shade, so you can watch for example, the 2014 World Cup sufficiently clear.
The colors and the brightness in closed rooms come across really well. There in my humble opinion nothing to complain about.
The fan is of course absolutely audible near the projector. I do not mind usually the sonorous sound, but I'm certainly not the standard for that matter.
What I have noticed?
-The Remote control is sufficiently large and well labeled.
- The internal speaker you can indeed pay for a decent viewing experience, but if you want to show, for example a small presentation (which is of course underpinned also with music), then reaches the fine.
-The Lamp life is estimated at up to 10,000 hours by the manufacturer. This is a very good value if it is also true.
-The Screws (there is a center forward and a left rear) are not optimal, but to establish the horizontal sufficient. Here I would have still wanted another screw.
Conclusion:
The Acer 3D X1373WH WXGA DLP projector has basically an excellent price / performance ratio. Why basically? Because it always arrives on the viewing habits. Who's it and want to again start a presentation or above the TV program would like to see, absolutely not go wrong. But if you want to watch 3D BluRays or broadcasts in Full HD, perhaps we should save a few Euros and set a Full HD projector.
Nevertheless amazed all person only once, unless you have previously never seen a beamer. The picture is really excellent to inspire in the 720p + triggering and white. Thus, the price / performance ratio for the beginner is more than given. For the movie fan inclined this projector will not necessarily represent the target group, however, you have an incredibly good price / performance ratio.
Thus I forgive for the inclined Beamer newbie full 5 stars. Intermediate will presumably rather a Full HD projector set, who still has very different ways.
