The delivery was typical Amazon very quickly. Even if the box size was quite generous this time chosen. But there is indeed on the content.
The first optical impression of the tent was excellent. The pack size is very small relative to the tent size. Then it seemed to especially since I use the tent for several days motorbike tours.
Of course, the tent should be tried on ahead of the larger tour or the structure can be practiced. In the garden we quickly discovered that the provided step by step instructions is rather a joke. It is merely a small, illustrated instructions with fewer than 3 drawings * ggg *. Quasi, tent is rolled out, the tent is erected tent stands.
But truthfully it's not that easy to bring the tent in a sizable form. The outer tent has to be fixed until quite cumbersome with clips on the inner tent. After all 3 poles should be inserted into the openings. The inner tent should be firmly anchored the ground with stakes before install. The easiest way to get to the tent stretched when you zoom works from front to back (this we had ourselves acquired from the third building). Without tension cables to get further but not much. Only bring the tent in shape. Here and there, then the herring must be adjusted again, that the tent is reasonably free of folds.
It must be said, the tent itself looks very chic from when it is time established what works with 2 people. 3 would be better ... but alone no chance!
But now the most important thing. The tent is large enough to it to Sites with 2 persons or in my case to store luggage (2 helmets, 2 suitcases, large stern roller, tank bag, motorcycle clothing, Steifel, etc.). However, the interior is quite small for 3 people. I measure 1.90m and can just as stretched lie therein. With my girlfriend the place enough good incl. 2 persons air mattress. The three, however, I want to spend it any night.
That the material thickness of the outer tent has failed quite thin, made me a bit suspicious from the beginning and I kept on the fourth night right. It was raining ... Not in streams, but more than rain. While it is not totally wet inside, but still the rainwater penetrates through the thin walls and leaves the day after a wet awning soil and water stains on the ceiling of the inner tent (I would soon be time to Impregnierspray try the water permeability restricting something). Angrily, I can only say, if one starts from 2000mm water column that are specified. I suppose that heavy rain the night can do to hell.
The cords are pretty thin and, moreover, black ... tripping hazard I can only say. Especially at night. At a campsite equal to 3 people have stumbled in one night on the guy ropes and accordingly have the tent totally ripped out of shape.
Finally, there is of me 3 out of 5 stars. The price is not just up and the tent is pretty to look at. For 2 persons from the place perfectly adequate. However, deduction of points for
- The absolutely insufficient assembly instructions
- The leak when it rains (which can also 30 euro supermarket tents better)
- To thin the black tensioning cables (please bright colors and thick)
- The generally thin walls, which also just waiting in my opinion, that a zipper at least 2 Inputs in the Outer tent and, tearing out the inner tent.
However, if one has prior to hang about 2 weeks in the middle of summer on Lake Garda, where prevail throughout 35 degrees with no rain, the tent is worth a recommendation. For German weather conditions but not the Ripper. Personally, I'm going to buy myself a high-quality, expensive tent next year.
