Delivery:
So I ordered after some research the Cooltek antiphon housing. The delivery was unfortunately a bit slow in coming (four working days), but that I would not be included in the rating. The delivery itself is in a very large package, but is very securely packed.
Quality:
The case itself is actually processed very well. I was unpacking really easily surprised, because I was sure that when such a relatively favorable Silent housing the biggest compromises have to be made here.
The quality is really good, almost as good as a LianLi housing. Accompanied also do all the necessary screws, for example, the motherboard expansion. Even cable ties are included to ensure the best possible order. The padded "walls" really liked. There are also for hard drives (3.5 "+ 2.5") rack rails. So the enclosed rails must be plugged into drive created and can be inserted easily, without having to be screwed must. Small drawback compared to high-end models: the rack rails are directed sideways and not forward, therefore the housing must be screwed, if one wants to change the hard drive. In high-end models this often extends the opening of the foldable front.
Built-in fan:
Of the three built-in fan is a the top of the housing on the rear side, and the other two under the 5.25 "rack bays on the front of the fan can be adjusted by operation of the fan controller in three stages:. Full load / off / Normal. To this end, let me say that they are to the normal setting, I recommend it to anyone, the fans are only audible when one keeps his ear to the case. Under full load, however, they are much too noisy, that does not fit concept of Silent housing. This feature I would really only be used if the PC is required in a very long game session or similar.
Limits of the case:
It is very urgent to note that the CPU cooler should not exceed 15.5 cm. I myself have really had very good luck with the Mugen3. Between side panel and CPU coolers are tolls. nor 0,1 - 0,2 cm space. The graphics card can have a length of up to 33cm, this should even be enough for today's models. Small note for anyone with two graphics cards in Crossfirebetireb: The specified length of 33cm graphics cards only applies to a map! The other card may then max. Have 28cm length, as these would then at the height of 3.5 "drive bays. Unfortunately, it is the way generally not possible to expand the drive bays. This is slightly annoying for me because I have installed neither HDDs still drives to this volume to no produce.
Volume / insulation:
Now for the most important part of a Silent housing: it can really reduce volume? Short but clear answer: yes! The good "feet" of the housing to take the case any vibration. In addition, the manufacturer was in distribution of insulation anything but stingy. The insulation was used generously on all sides and do it with my components (s. Preface) to make the computer operating completely silent. By three fans also creates a very good heat dissipation, therefore also my graphics card (link to my review:; ASIN = B00FSD4XMA & Linkcode = nodeID = tag =) which were under full load only 1,1sonne of nevertheless work with even lower fan speeds and therefore is almost inaudible even with graphically intensive games (eg Battlefield 4).
Conclusion:
I want everyone who is working to reduce the volume of its PCs, issue a strong buy recommendation. Genuine alternatives dive only from a starting price of over 150, which is more than twice the price. In addition, the housing is kept extremely simple, making it a very sophisticated look. So if you have a CPU fan that is no larger than 15.5cm, you should definitely pull this case into consideration.
