Since I was looking for a smartphone with lots of features at a low price, I almost did not come past the cutting edge of Huawei Y550. Since I'm not a fan of bloated, overpriced and so-called flagship-known manufacturers, because these gadgets have, I offer no added value accessed here again. I must say that I have some time, the first Moto G obsessed, which is in my view a great device and comparable in some respects with the Y550. Why did I but again separated me from the Moto G, were some properties that have bothered me a little. Primarily this was the non-expandable memory and not just excellent camera. This may the Y550 a little better, because here's internal memory with no problems with an SD card is the (admittedly scarcely measured) expandable. The camera has just 5MP as the Moto G, but just in low light brings them there, the better images out. The processing is simple and rock solid, the battery cover can be removed cleanly and not sitting too tight nor too loose, even allowing the battery to be removed. LTE is on board as well as the latest version of KitKat and the Emotion UI is easy to operate, not jerky, thanks to the quad cores and many designs meet certainly everybody's taste in a manner wonderfully simple. Since I've owned a Samsung Galaxy S Advance before the Moto G for a long time, the Emotion UI looks downright refreshing against something boring and bugged / hakelnde Touchwiz. In addition, the surface can switch to a very simple UI, which should facilitate just older generation entry into the smartphone world. What is used to and certainly due to the price, is the fact that the soft keys are not illuminated by the screen. However, these are operated eh intuitively without looking directly out ...
The battery has a similar good mileage like the Moto G, I now run two days after the unit and abundant use is still about 25%. This is perfectly adequate for me. The display not dissolve despite identical size to quite as high as the Motorola counterpart, for the Motorola is also some Euros more expensive. Nevertheless, the display is clear and colorful in presentation. So is a matter of taste, for which smartphone you decide in the end. I am extremely impressed with the previously Y550!
