After my Raspberry Pi B + as a WLAN access point two Edimax EW-7811Un configured and I
have a USB stick with looking for more coverage I decided for the Edimax EW-7612UAn V2.

Enfach out the old and the new pure and the RPI reboots. That's it. There was no change in the required configuration. The two different USB WLAN sticks Edimax EW-7811Un and Edimax EW-7612UAn V2 run in parallel with the same version of hostapd (of course with different /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf).
