My iPhone 3GS is one with the appearance of IOS 7 on the scrap heap and is no longer supported, so I was forced to reconsider.
Android has largely caught up to iOS. At the tablets that I gave my nephew, I could understand the qualities of good Android.
The G525 is similar to big and heavy as my old iPhone (although the display of the G525 is greater). In contrast to this, the battery is replaceable, so that in case of long trips away from the outlet when necessary, come along a spare battery. The battery lasts me nearly two days, ie in the evening of the 2nd day will the device to the power.
Phone quality is good; I have let me confirm from my interlocutors and also tested himself by answering machine. Reception under more adverse conditions (in the middle of the Libyan desert) is also very good.
The storage capacity can be expanded with inexpensive micro SD cards that easily can be replaced.
Especially important to me was the dual SIM function. So I have my company SIM card phone and data card in use and additionally a private sim with the home phone number. There can be different ringtones set also "silent" - so one could after work the business number also quiet. For this I have found, however with the app "Profile Scheduler" an even more beautiful solution that the night's rest even more comfortable and more diverse than the rest IOS feature backs me (eg you can specific numbers but then let through, adjust the brightness, etc.)
The coupling with my kit (VW Discovery Media, Golf 7) works fine. I am now thanks to dual SIM in the car on both numbers certainly attainable.
The quality of the hardware is good, nothing rattles. The speed is fine, I have experienced no stuttering.
As criticisms I feel so far only the battery life (but that is no worse than my iPhone) and that the built-in SIP client apparently does not work with Sipgate - at least I did not hear anything despite correct device. One might even say that there is a relatively narrow range of specific accessories, but all interfaces are standard. A shell I ordered in China (although it for example at Amazon are also in this country, a sufficiently wide range). Matte screen protectors I've found here, they have made in the wilderness, the display easy to read.
