The device works entirely without problems with my cable Germany receiver / HDD recorder and can operate almost completely on its universal remote control without entering a code.
Only criticism: The sound is any good for language. Music sounds so abysmal, beyond the pale even when turned up full basses (from level 50 to 100). Feature films are hence not to enjoy. The solution is only an external pit area. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does have built tens of outputs, but no sound output provided. A solution could not be found in the manual, so I anschrieb support from Odys. He replied within the next day and explained that they could tap the sound through the Scart output.
And indeed, over the Scart adapter (the device has a very small, narrow Scart input on a normal scart input connector) and one for 3 to purchased "SCART OUT" adapter ", then to 2 RCA plugs, which open into a mini-jack, I succeeded to produce prima tone right away with an active sound box. All in butter.
Conclusion: Prima TV, poor sound, but should get with a little pull-ups. The manual should write something about this, however. Due to the miserable sound only 4 out of 5 stars.
