It was time for an end of the pot-muddle consisting of Ikea365 (goes so after> 10 years), Tschibo ?, Cheap thingy etc). Is not that the old pots cooking no longer possible, but it took longer than desired but often, sometimes. also for simpler material. The choice fell on this set, I had already observed length. The reviews speak for themselves = high quality, energy saving, good help (often passionate) Cooking. I can not disagree = same experience with the nice side effect that cooking is faster by hand, because the pots are faster hot or remain hot longer. This is also due to the absolutely flat bottoms, which cause on my ceramic hob thanks to the rounded sides no longer scratches. The familiarization of the massive parts was quick handling is also very good. The processing can (almost ...) nothing to be desired, but only almost: because the massive handles on the pots and the lids are quite warm. These are fastened with rivets (instead of spot-welded fast times). So that the cooking paws are not affected, the good old hand-crocheted potholders come here again in honor, but the overall impression and the result does not diminish. All just a matter of (re) habituation). Cleaning is easy to accomplish, because hot water + detergent suffice completely. The outsides are getting so clean with no problems, just wipe it while still moist and there are no annoying water spots (who is bothered by them, they may like to keep :-)).
The offered price of just 500 here is certainly steep and provides some chefs were spoiled for choice (both with respect. Manufacturers as well as quantity of new utensils as a set). There are also other manufacturers of good sets, often low, visually appealing, which are sufficient for many purposes. Durable equipment with a valid (here in D) warranty period of 30 years as Creuset is found but rarely.
Anything else (for Sparfüche here): this set I snatched at amazon.it for just under 300 incl (3-day) shipping over the Alps.. From + to do you enable set at amazon.it Le Creuset Set 5 pentole multistrato as an offer to get (who wants to strike: it requires a credit card!).
