My impression after about 5-10h testing:
The screen is an impertinence.
For that reason alone the thing already is declining.
What I have 12 "screen size, if there is a viewing angle hardly, which allows me to perceive the whole area in decent quality? It's a mystery to me how such a serious lack many positive reviews could be hidden. Through everyday for several hours Working with many flat screens, I think, very good to know what is possible and, indeed, usually required in order to work without fatigue or arm can.
The tablet is quite heavy.
Sure, it's great too. But more than 250g announced?
Combined with the screen, which requires either correction of head position or the tablet, holding the tablets leads fairly quickly to fatigue of the wrist. As others have already noted, the device can be due to poor displays namely not just lie down somewhere and look at it. The viewing angle has to very carefully so that you agree all recognize. With a better screen I could probably live with the weight.
GPS can not.
I wanted just the version * * with GPS have. Since the system technical connection of the GPS receiver probably still missing (driver?), I can not say whether a GPS receiver is installed in the device. Showing he is not in the information.
A software update heck judge.
Send surface.
Yes, because the software specialists have come up with something lassen.Die operation is fluid and intuitive.
The response to inputs is significantly faster than in my familiar Windows machines (which have to share the Intel platform).
Multitoch not do. Hmmm. That surprises me now, but would need the applications and even the surface of the WeTab for weeks and months for multi-touch operation are developed. Who can test that?
A software update heck judge.
Software generally
Nix commanded - To stink against the top dog Apple, is - well, "too little" it hits hard. There is not a really good application for the WeTab.
Well, the browser is fast and supports the touch operation. OK, just a neat application.
What is on offer in the other regions is very homespun, not geared in part to the use of fingers / gestures and seems somehow unfinished.
The "Apps", which can be found at delivery on the pin board (surface) and in the store, are largely bookmarks for the browser.
Even simplest applications, such as a picture viewer function, only partially due to the lousy screen and the lack of multitouch. Since I had much, expect much more.
A software update aimed heck?
My Conclusion:
Far too bad screen. Something too heavy. Far too little software.
And all for the price of an "adult" device.
It simply lacks too much. I want a product that can deliver what it promises, and not one that merely brings the potential for it.
For me, the purchase has not been successful. Because I'd rather stay with my Asus T91 and wait what the other market participants get so on the series. Who knows, maybe the WeTab suggests not so bad at the end.
But, just not on my couch ....
