Very well written, realistic problems addressed: anxieties about personal life; forfeiture and the questions we ask about a company become, literally, crazy; disease which refuses to see in front; the fact of working for many years with someone and realize that after his death did not know him at all ... Wallander (the protagonist) is not Superman (or Bond), but a cop who looks like a human - warts and all! Even if we find the killer ... we really wonder what drove him to commit such horrendous crimes. Wallander thought for many, continuously reviews the details, is troubled by a sentence or a word that all need is related to solving the riddle - however small it may be. Sometimes we imagine that this is how investigations should happen - fed up with police officers, tired but not disillusioned by what they see. They have the aggressiveness to find - and no peak in Ystad. Excellent - from A to Z.
