Processing and performance outstanding!

I was looking for a backup hard drive for my MacBook Pro and came relatively quickly to the LaCie P9223.
Delivery by Amazon went as always very fast. The design and processing styled in the Macbook, which was not now the main reason for the purchase, but visually, the combination definitely a first-class impression!
Through the aluminum housing, the hard drive is very sturdy and high quality.
The installation is very easy. Connecting and follow the instructions on the screen and you can already after a few minutes to get started directly.
The read and write speeds are quite good thanks to USB 3.0, but rich of course not match the internal SSD laptop. However, the speed is more than adequate for my purposes.
In addition, a client for the cloud LaCie (Wuala), and an assistant are provided to encrypt the data with the hard disk yet. The cloud service is actually an interesting alternative to Dropbox, since the issue of data protection is written here considerably larger. The wizard for encryption I have not yet been tested, since OS X and Time Machine encryption also performs optional.
Conclusion: Well-processing external hard drive with lots of speed to a still moderate price.
