Successful successor with facelift and performance boost!

Since we have the LG Optimus L7, the new Optimus L7 II I was of course very much on the successor, excited.
Was that "old" L7 has a really good smartphone (see my review in this regard), so the new L7 II promises quite a bit more.

Striking is the immediate facelift.

The new L7 II joins in the design of the latest smartphones.
Processing and quality impression are, as usual from LG, perfectly.
The new case is, for the same display size, about 5 mm shorter than the old one, but a tad higher.
I find that the new Gehäuser better in your hand.

The L7 II still has a replaceable battery (contrary to the current trend of permanently installed).

The new IPS display will now not necessarily lighter than its predecessor, but definitely has a better contrast and a more beautiful color reproduction.
The capacitive touch function is impeccable.
Another new feature is the "smart display", a very useful function.
The unit recognizes when you look at the display and then switches not dark.

The primary feature of the new L7 is certainly the new dual-core processor with 1 GHz clock speed and 2x 768MB RAM.
One still has to predecessor at hand, then you realize the increase in the operating speed significantly.
The features also in the benchmark results again (I have photos set among customers pictures).

There is a free app "AnTuTu" with which one can determine the performance of its smartphones.
The old L7 reached here a total score of 3899 points.
The new L7 II reaches here at least 6645 points.
Whereby the CPU alone receives nearly 3 times the number of points as the CPU of its predecessor.

The performance increase is not only subjectively felt.

The built-in camera not only has a higher resolution get (8MP 5MP instead), and the autofocus is now more reliable.
If there is enough light, the image quality is really good.
The camera is definitely better than its predecessor.

Even in the other facilities (sound characteristics, wireless and network connection, battery capacity), the new Optumus L7 II makes no weaknesses.

The only drawback is the currently still somewhat high price, since in this (price) class there are more efficient competitors (eg Huawei Ascend G615).

Conclusion:

LG is definitely succeeded the successor to the proven Optimus L7.
A chic smartphone with a contemporary design and good performance.
Price / performance, there are more satisfactory, therefore only conditional recommendation from me!

Addendum 11.13.2013:

Meanwhile, the Optimus L7 II is at a very attractive price level.
My statement of May I can not confirm that.
It therefore offers a very good price / performance ratio.
This clear recommendation from me!
