The criticized in other remarks of use I can not understand, so I just have to give also to my two cents: The functions and how the alarm is set, is rather straight-forward, only to the wellness List to activate a function, I had a look at the throw manual. If you no good comes generally clear with technical equipment, everything is naturally complicated and incomprehensible. The button layout is as shown in the figure, around the display, which I personally find quite nice.
Also, the buttons are not at all hard to press, but as with any other alarm clock also and even with my previous alarm clocks I was the key label in the dark not read ... because it's dark;) ... for that you need already lit? buttons and it is not also in the product description. I could also no difference to my previous unit (the Sony ICFDS15IPB Docking Station DS 15 for Apple iPod / iPhone with clock radio black) bought or the Phillips Wake Up Lights, which friends of mine, in the setting and the press recognize the key.
In relation to other Wake Up Lights the clock is not on the back. Among the functions the device can be anything like the more expensive competition also. The light is at the more expensive not whitish but is rather yellowish, VLT. likes some more.
I have not awarded full marks because the wellness colors change fairly quickly and without ongoing transition and me that's a little too hectic. In addition, I can not begin with all the nature sounds something personally. The cicadas known as locusts are not relaxing rather very shrill, confused and annoying sounds that do not sound like locusts. Also the fire is not very natural and is more of crack and rustling noises. The wood Gong is me personally too hectic (similar arg standard beeping of an alarm clock). However, here tastes are different and I use anyway prefer music from the MP3 player.
So, now to the effect: For me the alarm clock helps really good. For me, and probably will stand forever annoying, but it's a much more pleasant than light alarm clock with an ordinary alarm clock, and for one simple reason. The light affects actually half an hour on a one and only that, I'll gradually woken up and doze a little in front of me until the alarm vollens signaled to me that I have to get up. This eliminates for me the complete Snoozen in the morning and I get up and am fit, if it rings. What ever is the case otherwise.
I just hope that I do not even mind getting used and also oversleep the light :)
