I could very well understand Anna. Your parents care only about her sick sister Kate, Anna often left out. Kate's illness dominates this family, there is nothing else there. The course leads to a very tense situation, only really waiting for the explosion.
The comes then also, as Anna accuses her parents for the rights of her own body. And from there everything is falling apart.
I did not like Anna's mother. I could understand their reasons for what they do, but I just could not stand absolutely, because it null cares about the needs of their other two children.
The different points of view in this book were very interesting and also keep track also important in order to understand the characters and their actions simply better.
The end has not really liked me. Somehow I found it quite ironic.
Overall a very good book about a broken family trying to really every means to defeat a disease while forgetting the other important things in life.
