A horny little book. Casey is absolutely right: we live and think in the paradigm of the State. But why? Why ever state? And what there is legitimacy for the State, especially in view of the history of oppression, dispossession and violence? Strangely, one always thinks only anarchy would bring murder and manslaughter with it. Anyone who thinks that is should first elementary knowledge of history acquire. Casey thinks anyway, the state has no legitimacy in general and succeeds quite well, this build a convincing, at least comprehensible reasoning. He is admirably clear, always says exactly what he thinks is right or wrong, and then brings the arguments. He himself belongs to anarcho-capitalist direction, that he endorsed the property. At one point he says, however, anarchism in any economic system must be permitted, as long as it is based on the voluntary union of those who they wish to pursue. Who wants to be politically times vigorously against the grain and is ready to previous dogma to provide for example also about the importance of democracy in question should definitely take up this refreshing text.
