I finished reading the book yesterday. Making especially striking to me is that the ideal man is above all an intelligent man. Indeed, we are led to interact with other people all the time, so it should know the basics of social intelligence in order to stand out, especially with women. An Italian word came back to me from reading this book: the "sprezzatura" is the ability of someone to believe that he is and succeeds effortlessly, even though everything worked and rehearsed. Being light and deep at the same time, it's an art. This book falls into this category. Read and transmitted between generations.
