I'm not an expert mastering all the technical terms associated with cameras. This comment is rather that of a layman relative compared to other commentators. In fact, I actually enjoyed the many qualities offered by the Pentax Q-S1. First is its setting mollettes I found sound, especially the one located on the front panel that allows you to customize a shortcut to four of your favorite settings. I also appreciated the opportunity to deploy its articulated flash which, although it may seem a little gadget brings a real plus in some situations. Lightweight, allowing good grip, with a fairly rapid auto-focus, relatively compact and very beautiful with its modern look / retro (it reminds me of my Leica grandfather!) This hybrid camera pleases me also through its stabilized sensor whose performance which really bluffing. I even managed to take landscape photos of a pretty impressive sharpness and vibrant color while I was passing a car traveling on the motorway! As for negatives, three are really damage my opinion: - The number of possible shots with a full battery (no more than 250) - The lack of wi-fi (which would have greatly facilitated the transfer of photos), while it is already available in some direct competitors of this camera. - But especially the fact that in this case pack + objective, the proposed target is the 5-15mm (amplitude a 3x ...) which is really very frustrating and that can only lead to the purchase of an additional goal if we want to have the feeling of being able to make the most of its camera. In addition to all this, we will also deplore speed burst mode if it is not catastrophic, is not exceptional either.
In conclusion, this nice camera offers real strengths and real negative points, and although I am not me leaning on the precise study of all offers of competition, I do not really know if it's the one I will choose among all ...
