Packing:
As written many times before here, the items came in original packaging, without damage.
Assembly:
The assembly was with us not quite so simple. I had already installed a rafter Kathrein stand. This I had the roof has not yet been renovated, I got along well from the inside truth in everything. I pushed the Frankfurter tiles from the inside at side and already I could comfortably standing by in-house work on the roof. In almost 7 meters roof height is also recommended for less vertigo people. My neighbor gave me to the outside via the printed circuit the rather large bowl and I assembled everything gross. LNB in the LNB holder, weatherproof black SAT cable so it looks nice on it. Important, absolutely provide the connector for LNB with sealing nipples, finally the dish is supposed to stay on the roof a few years / decades. The cables can be great lead obscured by the boom in integrated cable duct. Behind the bowl goes up into the roof Kathrein stand and from there through the cover inward.
The rough assembly is thus done on the roof.
Setting:
The setting is quite simple using the integrated scale. The following resources I have used: smartphone, smaller TV, receiver. Actually not rocket science if you know what to do. I have everything wired and temporarily connected the receiver and TV. Actually, there is in each receiver a menu for displaying the signal strength. Every smartphone has mitlerweile GPS on board. Thus, the best you charge down a SAT-Finder app. In Android there's this with focus on the mobile phone camera. Where in the sky the satellite (eg Astra) is a cross is shown. This allows the position quite well coarse adjust. Afterwards we at the bowl. The Fuba has created a scale with angular dimensions on the back. The fine adjustment is instinct. I have always looked at the TV in order to find the optimal setting. Can be no additional quality longer reach, so you pull gently down the carriage bolts of the adjustment axes. Top with a small ratchet. The Besfestigungen the mast control again and tighten if necessary, completed.
This whole setup and mounting work can be performed very well at the FUBA. The screws have a solid design, so you can tighten everything for eternity. Nevertheless, I advise anyone who like me can not work through the roof, possibly hinzuzuholen a technician. Working on the roof are always associated with some Risk and setting an SAT system may take with my method a bit.
Optics / Hatpik:
Really super. No sharp points or ridges. Everything is meticulously crafted and one sees that someone has given some thought to make the dish as appealing as possible. The materials chosen are permanently either anodized or galvanized with steel parts. From the outside, the antenna acts super on the roof. Tip: Be sure to work with the black cables. This fall optically then not. Although the white cables also work, but see not nearly as good.
Reception quality and bad weather reserve:
Top. Until now there were only two times the short-term loss. Both times through really extreme storm, which brought both downpour and hurricane-like gusts of wind. Our neighbor dropped by even a tree in the garden. I think in such bad weather events can sometimes go the reception.
Conclusion:
Any time. Top product with features as I imagine in such a product.
