Quality controls? Wrong!

I wish I could rate the GoPole Reach better, then I would probably even call him my own.
5 stars for a really cool and stable product, 3 star deduction for seemingly lack quality controls during the production!

I ordered the GoPole Reach 3x and 3x I found another defect.

GoPole Reach 1: The first clip was seen from the handle loose and undress had 2 parts in hand. At the top of anything loose fell around the rod.
GoPole Reach 2: In the upper part was drawn only with increased effort apart / are pushed together from a certain point of the bar.
GoPole Reach 3: The upper part lies not notice and turned in an attempt to lock the rod to its full length.

I'm sorry, but for 54 you can expect a high quality product, here needs to be urgently improved.
However, you caught a product without defects is to be sure happy with the Reach.

+ Very comfortable grip, even for large hands
+ Comfortable and quickly adaptable cord
+ Fast change of film direction
+ Makes a very stable impression
+ Ideal for snow thanks to white color
+ According to the manufacturer also suitable for fresh and salt water

- Large pack size

I tested also the "XS Big U-Shot 2" and the "SP POV POLE 36".

XS Big U-Shot 2:
+ Practical and rapid extension and retraction possible (better than Reach)
+ Tripod socket on the handle

- Also in the new version too small and soft touch
- The ball head I could not make friends, in my view unnecessary when using a GoPro
- Very thin rods ,, did not really have a strong impression

SP POV POLE 36:

+ The same ingenious extension and retraction as possible in "XS Big U-Shot 2"
+ Good and stable grip (If not quite up to the handle of Reach)
+ Extremely compact in contrast to Reach
+ Fast change of film direction
+ Makes a strong impression despite thinner rods

- The closing of the cord connected with one hand difficult, the "Zuzieher" seems too small for the thick rope to be (from GoPole was the better solution)

However, I have to search for a fully functioning GoPole Reach abandoned and have been using the "SP POV POLE 36" a very good alternative. The SP POV pole 36 has almost the same extension length as the Reach for a much smaller pack size! He is a few euros cheaper too! Pulling out / pushing together is fast and flowing out of hand. A good mix of Reach and Big U-Shot!
