- The 12 LEDs bring a little less light than a single LED in a Lenser- or Fenix flashlight
- The beam is not focussed
- The beam is unclean, bright spot in the middle is clear then from the inside out: dimmed again bright, dark ring dimmed.
- When halogen bulbs it is also dirty with 2 bright spots, arranged vertically, not round.
- The glass is made of plastic, not scratchproof.
- The ring for placing the lamp to the glass is not made of rubber but also from inexpensive plastic (brittle).
- There is no indication when the battery is fully loaded, so overload risk and shortened lifetime.
- The transformer to load at the socket is hot (60 degrees)
- The battery is built (not replaceable standard AA batteries). Battery Death = lamps scrap.
All in all, the lamp useful and the price is reasonable, but as indicated by "quality" in the description, there is no question.
Is correct that the lamp is made of inexpensive material, the optical conversion of radiation mislungen and the battery is inflexible.
I bought the lamp during the Advent calendar of Amazon for a special price. At this price I would buy it again as emergency lamp. Otherwise, I advise to proprietary brands with replaceable standard batteries (AA, Mignon or D).
