Due to this, I am currently doing to try various coffee beans or manufacturer, and play around with the settings of the device. I have already tested two other manufacturers.
Beans:
- Smell: neutral, non-aromatic.
- Appearance (see picture): Many beans are fragile, look deformed, chipped.
Taste:
- I've tried various settings. Time a fine grinding degree, a coarser, as well as various "average" setting. Overall, I gained more than 10 cups of coffee prepared. But something is wrong with the beans. The smell of coffee is neutral, the taste quite terribly. I can not define right, but the finish is very sour, musty and unpleasant. The pomace is however "perfect" (round and dry).
The other two manufacturers, the beans were by no means fragile. There all the beans were intact. The taste was also significantly better, never musty.
I guess I'll have to throw away the package. However, I'm going to buy another pack at the grocery store, I hope you can use these beans then also to a decent cup of coffee.
