If I buy nail clippers for 10, do not expect the quality as enem precision tools from Solingen. But I expect that I get no part, is at the risk of injury! The pliers comes with deferred silicone cap on the edge. OK. Packed in a plastic bag, the top transparent, with the promising imprint "Proven Quality Instruments NRW Germany". Like-made by me pictures show is neither "checked" yet is "quality"! What this has to do with pliers NRW and Germany, also not obvious to me, but that's more of a case for the competitors ... The pliers are VERY poorly processed, as can be seen on the scratched areas on the head and the dirty and wrong cut sides there. I would - given the price - still suffer. Who but then down the ridge pops up (which is already uncomfortably hard even to quite sharp and narrow) to the clamp spring loaded to open, and larger hands have, as I will, to ram a sharp metal chip in the hand! This must not happen, and would in a "quality control" - if any, notice! Photos here. Since there are many positive and negative reviews but little here, I guess, that the quality is very variable, up to such "outliers" as I have received. Or Vekäufer concerns from different manufacturers. Then you only have to get lucky and get a pair of pliers that do their work safely, for little money. I will not take the chance and send the forceps back without exchange for reimbursement. Thanks to Amazon.
