The unit has together form a trunk and a head which quite a long incline. In between, the blade is placed so skillfully that it is flush with two parts - it protrudes no blade out. At level 1, the injury risk is not higher than with a system shaver, what surprised me very much. Stage 2 is also harmless, with Level 3 you have to start only ever watch. What stage 5 is I do not know, maybe a 5 year to remove Bart :)
I personally use level 3 for cheeks + neck and level 1 for the oral cavity.
