Have also such problems as jan_b (think he Hies)! the quality of the headphones are indeed gorgeous! excellent bass response! actually fits all! am also having the length of the cables satisfied! However, the sheath of the cable is really the worst! got the Earphones now about 4 months and is ~ 4 times used the week! have now put already at 3 with white tape (so it does not so auffält) who ripped ask where already looked out the copper wires taped so it does not weiterreisst! Would you therefore its predecessor recommended that this issue had not been received and me after 4 years! I think the model Hies Sony MDR_EX 51! whose'm not 100% sure sorry!
EDIT on 25 June 2006: Hab 4 months ago made a warranty exchange with my headphones. The cables look still pending as the first day! have you ever written a negative review here on Amazon since disbanded the cable. This is now in the new version no longer the case! I hope that it stays that way because in terms of sound and ergonomics for me the best. got me while waiting for the new headphones Koss - but worried that my opinion can plug headphones The by far not keep up in sound quality. Am currently so thoroughly satisfied with the Sony MDR-EX 71 headphones. So actually now 5 Stars!
