Fitbit Activity Tracker batch HR (equipment)

Customer Review

I have been 2 days (satisfied) owner of a Fitbit batch HR. Originally I had toyed with the simple, already available rather batch because the price gap for HR but seemed manageable, I have waited before I give it to me lies (no, not via Amazon Vine).

In focus were the next batch (HR) and the Jawbone Up 24, the Jawbone Up3 and originally the Nike Fuelband. As I said, the batch was priced too close to the batch HR, the Jawbone Up24 holds (according to Amazon reviews) only 3 months, the release date of Up3 is probably still in the stars and the Fuelband is no longer being developed, after Nike, the developers the street has set (ok, the work is now probably the fact that the Apple Watch yet another day battery life reached).

But now the Fitbit batch HR:

1. Design / Significance:
Well, the design is basically fine. I have the black version, which is strictly speaking more gray or vintage black. The black display is basically good and easy to read. However, it is made of plastic and upon closer inspection you can see the joints to the deck (plastic) glass. Also we read them in forums that the display quickly scratched. For me, a blank of a mobile phone screen protector protects the screen. Proposal for Accessories Manufacturer: Protectors for Fitbit & charge I would have bought the bracelet is not wechselbar- I knew that but and therefore this point does not (negatively) in the standings.
Conclusion: Note 3

2. Operation:
Very good-five minutes took the initial setup, then configure a little on the computer and ready. The time for the configuration you should take, since this for the accuracy of important things like the dominant hand (ie batch getragen- on the active, z. B. in right on the right hand or not), the sensitivity of the sleep detection or Also, the display can be adjusted. The batch must not necessarily be operated via the side button, double tap the screen calls (configurable) Information such. B. time or steps. The corresponding Android app is very clear and the notification of incoming calls by vibrating works super. Annoying is only the proprietary charging cable, here's a Micro-USB port would have been desirable given the charge via USB will be recharged.
Conclusion: Note 1

3. Accuracy:
Ok, my experience after 2 days are limited. I have repeatedly counted steps, where the batch had the same number, or had only a slight deviation. 100km drive are with me with about 150 additional steps recorded worden- but that may be different each time the driving style and road surface. The sleep detection in 2 nights has worked quite well and the heart rate measurement was compared with my Polar chest strap identical, but I've only measured at rest. Elsewhere we read that just in training well to larger deviations occur. I am satisfied for now.
Conclusion: Note 1

Summary:
Missed the thing a little better material (metal + glass) and a micro-USB connection of the batch HR would be perfect. But I'm also so happy and give full marks. Who wants to read more opinions on Charge HR, should times on the American AMAZON page nachschauen- in the US is he a bit longer on the market ...
