I have the hard drive installed in my Macbook Pro 13 "mid 2010 to the slower and to replace the original smaller HDD. Speed increase is noticeable yet, unfortunately, but the volume of the plate in the aluminum housing is quite annoying Mac. While the was / inaudible 5400 1 min originals HDD, this has a constant noise here. Am not sure if this is the final solution, or whether me so annoying in the long run that the plate rausfliegt again. How does it sound in a laptop with a plastic housing I can not say unfortunately. 3 stars it gets to me.
