I run the camera to a PoE switch Netgear GS108P and behind it a Synology RackStation. The supplied images are clear and clean, like everywhere else, the images are the better, the more light is available - on a Sunday Ingen day the image is truly outstanding.
The configuration options are mE sufficient: In the Web interface can be set so all kinds, such as automatic switching to night mode (with IR, more on that later), motion detection using a detection grid that you put over the image and so only those areas are monitored. This is useful if, for example in the surrounding trees every now and then land birds or the branches are moved by the wind - or have been a part of the neighboring property "with it" and this should be hidden.
The connection via breakout cable could be better solved. I have a shrink tube pulled over because I do not find the included Billigverschraubung particularly convincing. But that's just a detail.
