The World of Botanicula is an extremely creative tree world. Everywhere romps and teeming with more-or-less insect-like creatures. Pretty much all of them are somehow activated and then make any bizarre things. Often they are parts of the puzzles and get the players in the story above, as often as possible but also to find out just about what these residents make the world - scurry, chasing other arboreal, grow to unsuspected size or to be suddenly Percussian- band. Whatever, who is a friend of creative explosions will come at his expense.
The "Adventure" is a minor matter. Accordingly, most puzzles are set up: Here sprig draw because clicking on the protagonists, because before the creature wiggling the mouse. Although all the puzzles have a logical, one has most puzzles solved by trial and error before you can see the logic. This is basically for this adventure okay (and certainly wanted) because it is just not a classic combining adventure, but surprised by its many small ideas and wants to entertain. There, where the then but something does not work together with the tasting, the solution to this is a lack of detail, however, can quite frustig (two, three times had overlooked some little thing, and then finally to resort to the solution, because it was useless to me, possibly somewhere to look at the whole tree). Eingie puzzles were also more minigames, which depend on quick click and objectives. Fans of typical combination adventures Vedas might be disappointed here.
The other really big downside is that the game was after about four hours ago with me - the hundreds of worlds are perhaps 150-200 screens. That's a bit short. At worlds there are actually the treetop, the withered tree parts, "the village", the root of the world and the final level.
The Special Edition: Sowol the poster as well as the detailed manual are not worth mentioning. What is an Adventure Guide be great detail already? But in any case I found the soundtrack a nice addition. The music fits perfectly with the style of the game. But to pre-hearing side it is less suitable. Who like to "wacky" video clips created, might find a use, and collectors will enjoy the "Have".
CONCLUSION: Botanicula is a beautiful game. Here however more own wacky puzzler Labyrinth genre as a classic Advenutre. If you like fancy-creative things bustling protagonists and non-targeted animation will certainly have fun. Hardcore-Adventure-lovers should take a look at Youtube a few levels, whether the game meets their tastes. The collectio Limit edition it has probably not be for the tits. One point deduction is available for the small scale to be noticeably.
