As Metallica got fan I was delighted that it, since "Live S *** Binge & Purge" album from 1993, finally an official Metallica Live CD's. The song selection is quite good, on "Ride the Lightning" and "Cyanide" I could have done without, but that's a matter of taste, you knew in advance and is not rated. The sound is also very good and comes impressively over. So why only 3 stars? On the one hand I find the album too short. 14 songs (the intro is for me not a separate track and "Orion" I come later) is a Metallica concert Not enough. I have the last in May 2009, on the "Death Magnetic Tour", views and because they played 20 songs (plus intro). OK, the number of tracks was also known before, yet it is not enough for me. What bothers me also, some places are in some songs: In "Ride the Lightning", the micro-precipitates in "Battery" (one of the hottest live songs at all) is just once a piece of the middle part is replaced by an announcement by James Hetfield and the rest of his "Hey Hey Hey" broken roared and the end of "Enter Sandman" and does not belong so on a live CD. This "together the stage-break-" but Showeinlage (already gave it to the "Cunning Stunts Tour", the end of the 90) may well be very nice to look at is on an audio CD just silly. One hears felt 10 minutes Only any of these buzzing and ramblings and the song is broken. The last stumbling block on the album is that "Orion" garnicht Live was recorded before an audience. It is a studio shot, though not, by "Master of Puppets" album. Too bad ....... Conclusion: Anyone looking for a really cool Metallica Live album, should have recourse to "Live S ***". 25 songs on 3 CDs - Could not be better! Here solid food is on offer, technically sound content weaken with. Only at the end of "The Memory Remains" is really sleep on goose bumps concert atmosphere.
