The timer is small and well finished. The rubber coating makes it appear high, making it resistant to finger food. However, I had imagined the timer is greater - it's pretty small. The figures are then also not as big as my other kitchen timers. So it is no longer easy to read from a distance. Positive is the size that this small timer still on the lowest tray (for example, if I take it as a tea-timer) takes place (in addition to teacups and pot.) - He's a better two-euro coin ;-) What me but rather disturbs: Unfortunately, this leaves only about Küchenuhr Magnet "up", or rather fix. Fortunately, the stainless steel cladding of our microwave is magnetic, otherwise I would have to send little ones can not fix. I had assumed that he except the magnet nor a dedicated device for folding like other timers. But OK, so it's also - but it is already restricted in the application! The setting is simple and the buttons are handy. The beeping is pleasant, but in a lot of noise in the kitchen (hood at a high level, radio ...) I think it may not be loud enough. If we are not directly in the kitchen, we attach the timer to the key cabinet in the hallway, so you can hear him in any case. Instructions included with the instrument the way. For the not super loud beeping that rather small digits and the very limited Aufstellbarkeit (only on magnetic surfaces) I have to deduct a star. Moreover, I think it's not so great, that the clock is powered by LR44 button cell - probably in order to build the timer so small can - for the first coin cell was soon all and you do not get reasonably priced on every corner. I've now ordered me a Camelion Pack here at Amazon that are favorable.
Addendum: After twice falling behind, unfortunately, the magnet dropped. Now you can set the timer just lie down :-(
