Lauryn Hill. Who does not know !? The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, I've just bought out of curiosity and I must say I'm really excited. I also have to say I knew previously no song of Lauryn Hill. But I would describe it as one of the best 3 R'n'B artists. Finally, with The Miseducation (of Lauryn Hill) for eleven Grammy Awards and won as a first female artist in five categories (Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Female R & B Vocal Performance, Best R & B Song and Best R & B Album). This is truly a riesieger success. The album itself has really brilliant songs. Whether "Lost One", "Ex-Factor", "Superstar", etc. On the whole, all the songs are very emotional. In "Lost One" one recognizes Lauryn's harsh rap voice, treated somewhat economical with the instruments and creates an amazing hip hop track. "Ex-Factor" (I love the content!) And "To Zion" (to her son Zion) are wonderful balanced tracks. Also Rap parts in "Everything is Everything" are great and in harmony with the great beat. But for me is the most powerful song "Used To Love Him". For as Lauryn Hill meets hip hop / soul queen Mary J. Blige. Since it was immediately clear to me that this is a really brilliant track, because it is very intuitive and is very packed with emotions. On the whole a really great R & B Album, where you really can not fault. Simply soulful and typical 90s.
