We meet again the werewolf Vane cruised DAUGHTER OF SHAMAN, completely obsessed with Bride, a charming and voluptuous young woman (find me another heroine of this novel by a size 44 ...).
Obviously the hero is brave, fascinating and beautiful as usual, but I enjoyed that suggests its semi-animal state; you do not cheat with the feelings, and once his loyalty and love granted they are for life, a steadfast fidelity.
The volume opens with hunting which he and his brother Vang subject from Apollites demons after the betrayal of their father.
Then we made an eight-month break to reach the get laid our two heroes (second meeting ...), before moving on to a story SK sauce / DARK HUNTERS entertaining.
What is interesting over the volumes, is to read the destiny of his heroes whose time frame is interwoven, allowing regular interconnections with all the characters whose SK tale adventures in other books.
Less dense than the previous volume DOWN THE APOLLO, it almost completely obscures the mythology of DH but nevertheless can discover the world of werewolves.
Good point for some really funny dialogues; the few venomous exchanges between Tabitha and her brother-Kyrian are tasty.
Acheron, quite overpowering in his role of "wise old man" is rather indented despite his many interventions, but it highlights the dingo character Simi his personal demon.
A separate introduction of the protagonists of the next book; Valerius the proud and severe Roman general and Tabitha crazy sister and the "buffy-esque" Amanda (wife of Kyrian of Thrace, see Volume 2), gives us the mouth water with regard to the upcoming meeting.
Hopefully it will not move to the often syrupy mill of Sherrilyn Kenyon ...
