Positives:
+ Great music
+ Good graphics (albeit very hardware hungry)
+ More provinces
+ Greater freedom of movement of the camera in action
+ Camera can now be controlled with the WASD keys
+ Transport ships are no longer necessary, since units themselves can transform into something (similar to Civ 5)
+ The new battles are fun
+ There are good animations on the world map
+ Good voice actor
+ You can now recruit more units in one round at a single location
+ Memories at the end of the round if you can still explore a technology or upgrade a unit
Negatives:
- Eternally long loading times between rounds or after a fight
- It is much more complex than the first part (in particular the bonuses and the building menu)
- There are from time to performance problems
- You can not map in Diplomatiemenu more act (also as in Civ 5)
- It's altogether less fun than the first part and frequently degenerates into work
- Ranged weapons are now much weaker (almost senseless)
- City conquests without siege weapons (Instead of a unit with firebrands goal burnt)
- Combat animations are worse than in the first part (tolls also a bug.)
- Significantly higher difficulty (even simple rebel uprisings make now already more challenging as they involve several thousand men and also have 2 or 3 Promotions behind him and are just as well equipped as oneself)
