Rating for continuous use

I ordered the cup on 03.02.2010 and after almost exactly two years he has given up.
In that time I have used the cup almost every day and was angry about many and happy.

The positive characteristics of the cup:
- The isolation period: in my opinion, is a coffee that just before the hour in such a mug 60% of the initial temperature has very good; most Thermobecher be 15 minutes more ago as an open cup. Certainly less than an isotherm pitcher, but a good temperature for one hour I think is the purpose of such a cup!
- The rubber floor: is an extreme stability and prevent any situation slipping of the cup, the overturning preventing only one bracket.
Tip for all producers: a deeper center of gravity would be promotionally effective and practical to avoid tipping!
- The raised edge on the lid prevents frivolous scalding of tongue or lip (mine is only noticed by a cup which lacked this advantage)

neutral properties:
- Handle and shape of the cup: very comfortable to hold and visually elegant, a special benefit is therefore still not available.

negative characteristics:
- The Schraubveschluß the cup is on the inside, with a very full cup of coffee runs during closing (unfortunately) over!
- The lid is opened by folding back the shutter, I had while drinking so always a "nose full of coffee" because just getting a drop of coffee depends on it!
- With me the cup has not held tightly; short tilting yes, but if it falls, it runs just out for scarce 10 seconds.
- For me this cup is cleaned in the dishwasher; a cup in this price range should take that! In the long run this cup (added: is not as described dishwasher safe), however, leaking at the bottom and the Isomaterial soaks up water. When the cup is then filled with a hot beverage, the purpose of a physical reaction of the cup is to be "saved" from water. (This wear occurred after 18 months the first time and gave the cup within the next 6 months the rest. The seals were leaking through the suction and compression of the water.) But when subsequent + I must add here that the cup ( In contrast to other cups) after the dishwasher retains no aftertaste.

Overall, positive and negative characteristics are balanced.

It should each decide for themselves whether outweigh the advantages or disadvantages for him here. At school, my grade would have been a "satisfactory". This assessment should be objective, even if it sounds sometimes maybe a little too critical. I hope I could help.

Addendum: I bought the mug for the original price of 13.95 and will (9.95 on 22.11.2012) * increase it for the current price around a star to 4 in the evaluation.
