RDV at Speed

I wanted to return to this recurring in the comments, like what the hard drive is slow. It is simply dependent network. If you plug it into a network port 100Mbit / s so you will have a transfer rate of 100/8 either 12.5Mo / s at best and if you go through wifi and you do not have the latest standard (802.11ac ) then it will be even slower.
To take full advantage must connect it to a router or box gigabit (1000Mbit / s) with a full wiring with ethernet cables Cat 6 or 6a (not provided by your service in general which provided him enough for a normal 5 ADSL line and even fiber) designed for such speed. With an installation of the kind I turn transfer rates of the order of 50 to 70Mb / s.
Note: WD provides digital cable cat 5 which is quite outrageous by cons since his record say is sized on a gigabit port with the provided cable to 100Mbit
