First of all: of course you can not expect any professional studio equipment for the money. That would be just plain wrong, but: Ordered on Saturday, delivery on Tuesday. Class! Opened packaging and can be found two packages before: The softbox and the tripod packed separately. The package is not got use or assembly instructions at, but I'm a man and "tool" my middle name, so fix up (without tools, mind you) and set up. The whole thing went so quickly from obvious that a mobile building within 2-3 minutes is always absolutely possible, but I would not do that. More on that later. The softbox looks solid, only the diffuser is a little wrinkled, but that's not a negative point. You notice garnicht when lamp off. Solid means in this context, however, that I, if I really only use at home, can carry through the area, that I have to be afraid of something without destroying. For mobile softbox me the screen is a little too shaky, thin, soft easy. The tripod is made of any black plated metal. I would argue aluminum, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I do not feel the thing could break. Only the clips for extension are made of plastic, but I do not think that can break with careful use would be much less vulnerable.
Conclusion: for the price of 30 for a full softbox you can not complain easily. All the little things are perhaps for the perfectionists an eyesore, but it limits the functionality of the box in any way. Very flexible in terms of height, great light, moderate processing but anything can (!) In all I just do not complain. Very strong buy recommendation.
