It really feels warmed up. If we take the initial series, we say, that No. XIII had really bad luck of being involved in a conspiracy of this magnitude but, hey, it "may happen". So when we discover here that it is again embedded in a diabolical plot against an opponent with unlimited means and obviously for a reason unrelated to the first conspiracy, again, really bad luck. So we say that it's still push the envelope a little further ... So if we ignore it and forget that it is a hen that lays golden eggs would be foolish to let die the authors of the first volume of this second cycle is read without displeasure. While the mechanics are quite similar to the first series, that local police are once again all morons, that all investigations are visibly botched and all the XIII opponent of power that can everything everywhere and knows everything seems still good inordinate again ... A little more subtlety naurait not hurt ...
