The batteries were about 70% charged here (about 8 months ago bought) and were loaded at the time exactly 11 times, of which the first 3 times only to calibration function in the loader (the Refresh program old cells but also regenerates new cells " be retracted, "Here, charge switch (500 mA) and discharge (250 mA) from until no increase in capacity is possible).
First, the battery held in a flashlight (fluorescent tube) through very well, 2600 mAh are not just little,
the discharge curve was rather flat.
Now, however, the first battery is in the air already cracked and has his "guts" (all small crystallizations + Black corrosion on the metal surfaces) poured into the lamp ... not a pretty sight, especially as the lamp is also defective since.
While the batteries wear Varta as a brand name, but are yet (as expected) only slightly "better" than Aldi / Lidl batteries ... I trust my dear again Eneloops from Sanyo, which although nominally take less, but simply work very very reliable, are also to be had for 14-15 euros in 8 Pack again ...
Let's see how many cycles (1000-1500?) Hold the remaining 3 cells yet ... :-)
