I, who am not paid to the "medical" books, and doing overall trust doctors (and even more pharmacists) for prescriptions, I bought this book after a severe reaction to a drug reaction which seemed to doubt my doctor (not the emergency room where I landed!). So I bought this book, I always consults when treatment "basic" is given to me (in case of more complicated treatment, it must be accepted, as well as the authors say, to take a drug that has risks but when it comes to treating a basic thing, so avoid drugs whose risks are unjustified. I have seen my many as "Basic pharmacy". Important note: do not rush to the listing of drugs and their notes without having read the previous chapters, because then it can be wrong in our appreciation of a particular medication or a particular molecule. My advice, as the book is huge, is to read a few pages here and there (it's also exciting, and one reads more than expected!)
