Real speed laminator

The unit came in a handy cardboard incl. Manual and test sheets (2x A4, A5 and 3x 5x business card size).

Visually, the PL102 with its matt white surface and the details in bright orange schonmal very of the usual silver-demeanor well pabulum different.

Ok, but a well presented is not everything, so close in on the technology test:

The manufacturer promises to heat the device in a minute.
A promise that I - can not really believe - until mid-priced spoiled by my previous experiences with similar devices in the lower.
But again, I'm pleasantly surprised:
Turn it one with the, admittedly getting used to, rotary switch, so that the red power LED lights and just 55 seconds later, an additional green LED indicates that the device has now reached its operating temperature.

The results are also satisfactory:
A simple sheet of A4 paper is 30 seconds laminated completely sealed after approx.

The first few times, which was the instrument, there was a significant development of smoke, combined with a slight pungent odor.
This has since disappeared. I suppose that had, from the production nor any residue on the roller have been burned by the heat.

In operation, the housing becomes very hot.

The power cord is advised by approximately 120 cm a bit short.

My Conclusion:
A solid piece of equipment that works quickly and reliably, while also looks quite nice.
Price / performance ratio absolutely satisfactory.

Who a simple device for occasional lamination of normal copy paper (max. 2 leaves to each other) searches with a size up to A4, is operated PL102 well with Peach.
