One of the strongest UFO studio albums ever to be said in advance. With Killing child starts the album a typical UFO sound, and after that it is not typical in many places UFO, but in an ingenious manner. The album sounds to me as if the band had invented all over again in the evening of their days. And this in outstanding fashion. UFO comes rocking therefore, not commercially, the album is very varied, rock, melodic, sensitive, spontaneous. As an old Schenkerfan I have to say this is some of the best UFO study album, or vice versa, which album is the better? "Culprit", next to a once again vocally sensitive and expressive Phil Mogg, is especially Vinnie Moore. He brings a different, more rock style in music, has a lot Feeling, and above all, the band evaluates at least one step on. By that I mean, not so smooth, not so complacent as usual, but Rock at its best. Also that the otherwise dominant for me, carnival exemplary Keyboard missing, the keyboards adapt to the sound and sound rock. In one of the hottest pieces of "Rolling Rolling" me the keyboards are somewhat reminiscent of Deep Purple or better yet, to Uriah Heep. Gets along well, this album and so much better than the new Schenkeralbum a horrible singer. Mogg is still a class of its own, one of the best rock vocalist ever. On the new album there is not a single UFO weak or mediocre piece, highlights for me are among others Ballad of the left hand Gun, Precious Cargo and Real Deal comes incredibly strong therefore. Well done, hats off.
