So it had to be something else!
The Quick Strap is stylish-casual hung across his shoulder (as in the past ... the gym bag). Even while wearing a thick jacket slips nothing. When spontaneous handle the camera for the purpose of making a photograph is no longer the belt portion interferes with a clear view. The camera body follows the gravity and is always close to the body directed downwards: you no longer cooked up so frequently with his telephoto zoom to persons or door frame.
The belt is screwed to the tripod socket of the camera. In turn this screw has a thread, so that the whole container can be, in turn, bolted to a tripod. Has a web on which the belt hook is attached.
The Quick Strap belt has an additional padded shoulder-cap with zipper and small compartments eg for SD cards, condoms or stamps etc ..
But I have these removed as they always against slipping and you only ever have to muddle in position during application and removal. The belt can be längenverstellen natural and fits both David and Goliath.
Conclusion:
I think that's just part mercilessly practically and who likes to show how good it financially but is doing, can indeed be happy afterwards Canon or Nikon, or both can embroider it ;-)
