I had a few no-name added myself some time ago carabiner at the flea market, in the belief that the differences in quality so so great can not be in such a simple product. However, the differences are not limited to processing (deburring) and surface coating (gloss and color). The function of the no-name parts is poor.
The gap between the bracket and the lock of the snap hook was in my no-name part so great that a key has solved the keychain always in your pocket. That made me so annoyed with the time that I have again resorted last visit to the knife dealer I trust the brand-name product from Switzerland.
Since then I have the original part, an end to the search for the single key, until it is needed separately hangs beautifully clean on a key chain. In my case, that's the key from the garage door, hanging on the car keys, so it is used daily. Even after several months sees the thing as it did on the first day and also works so well.
So here it is definitely worthwhile to spend even a few euros more for a quality product
