The unit is equipped with 4 smooth casters and can thus be easily moved and easily carry with 2 side-mounted handles. The water tank for collecting the condensate is located at the front (with optical level indicator) and can be easily removed for emptying. Once the tank is full, the unit automatically turns off. With one at the top (where there is also 3 LED indicators for operating states are) mounted knob, the unit can either continuous operation (max) or normal mode (individually desired humidity) can be set. In normal operation, the unit automatically switches off as soon as the humidity has reached a normal value (for example 60%, measured with a separately erwerbendem hygrometer), and as soon as the humidity rises again, the unit will restart automatically.
The noise of the unit during operation is very limited. The built-in fan is barely audible, only the functional reasons necessary compressor (similar to a refrigerator unit) produced some occasionally disturbing noises, all in all, but bearable even when used in a residential installation. The power consumption is specified with 250 W at a tolerable even with frequent use of the framework. By design, resulting in the operation of the device a slight warming of the room.
As a (so far) only defect I feel that with approx. 1 1/2 m somewhat scarce guessed cord of the device and a missing plastic cover for the rear Luftaustrittsöffung (in which can freely penetrate when not in use dust and dirt), which should therefore be covered when not in use the device necessarily with a dust cover to malfunction prevent pollution by the device.
All in all, this device taking into account the power consumption at a sufficient dehumidification usually also due to its low price, a strong buy recommendation.
