So I bought this product because my new motherboard is not connected to my old printer. A new I did not pick me because it still does a good job. My printer is a HP Deskjet 710c! I immediately connected everything to the motherboard. The printer was immediately recognized under Windows 7 x64, as already described by others here.

However, I could not print a document first. After a longer search, I have found that it 7 x64 comes to problems with the Deskjet models of HP under Windows. You can not operate this series, although they are recognized.
However, this is a known bug. If you look for it, you will find a patch that fixes this (Google: Deskjet [number] Windows 7 patch). If you unpacked the three .dll files to this destination folder is C: \ Windows \ system32 \ spool \ drivers \ x64 \ 3 everything runs smoothly.

If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 x32, will not happen the bug. There thus is likely at these models no problem will occur.
