Purchasing this reflex follows my previous experience with a Pentax Kx which I was very pleased but struggled AF lot especially with the basic objectives of Pentax (18-55 & 50-200). Amateur photographer very eclectic, I needed a fairly versatile (sports, nature, portrait in natural environment) with a budget of nearly 1,000. I am extremely satisfied with the device that completely answers my initial request: - Pictures have a lot of dive especially with the fixed targets (35 mm f / 2.4), the 50mm f / 1.8 is not bad but well below the f / 1.4. - AF is very fast (shoot hockey / ice ...) but again, that is the goal that makes the difference (the 50-200 f / 4 - 5.6 remains accurate at f / 4, but quickly found limitations tele ...) - The case is robust and the quality is felt from the grip This case remains an expert reflex and is aimed at an informed public. The mastery of photographic basics is essential before moving on a case like this is to work in manual mode basically. Conclusion: Excellent luminous box that requires objectives to wake the soul of AF. A very fast SD card write achieves the 8 frames / second. Recommended for backpackers and reporters because it is very compact and the 24 Mpixels allow crop a little without losing quality. After 6 months of shots, always very satisfied, however, for an unknown reason and without changing the settings for recording a photo, the trigger operated stores sometimes without reason black pictures (burst or single trigger); the return to normal usually lasts until the power off and re-ignition of the case (it is sometimes extremely frustrating show), I have found nothing on the forums about it, I remove logically a star for the negative ...
