I bought the refrigerator at *** and I also face problems with it. First, the refrigerator compartment cools down too far and, secondly, one has after a long time suddenly the problem is that water in the refrigerator compartment is. Since the warranty is over, I myself have seen why. The solution is simple but unfortunately unrecoverable because no direct malfunction. He's just been designed. If one is larger objects to the right of the sensor cools down wrong and freezes the property. The sensor is then in the airflow shadow and thereby provides' probably wrong values. Holding the sensor freely, nothing freezes. After about 1 to 2 years slowly freezes the condensate drain a (obviously very slowly but steadily) since the condensation water can no longer run, it collects in the cooling compartment. Reason is the condensate drain leads behind the lower freezer along. The close distance to the freezer compartment causes the pipe freezes slowly. I have read in forums that all have pretty much the problem. Ausage of LG. Repair cause (which fix because is not broken). Since that is not noticed until very late with the water (usually after the warranty) you're unlucky. The question of goodwill = nil. Amazon should sometimes as traders consider his orders or reviewed or just listen to customer reviews and if necessary take items from the list. Only a rectification by possibly correcting software (other temperature values) can remedy with respect to the cooling temperature. How will solve the condensation problem by "repairing" I do not know. The line is foamed to do nothing. LG wants to get paid for their customers cost slippage here.
