Customer Review

JW's since 1988 music producer and to date been most successful with his partner Nick Warren. As a part of "Way Out West" He has produced immensely catchy songs and now he comes up with such a great, warm, round produced the first solo album. It is a pleasure! Progressive, but not too techno, partially oriented song bomblets with much melody and relaxed going forward.

The overall impression is very British, parallels to Way Out West are hard to miss, it would be different, it would make me suspicious. The overall impression is not so excited. The album is a logical consequence of his podcasts, which have become very heavy house. He has, however, nice to get the curve and I confess that I sometimes feel back in the nineties. "Orinoco" is based on a trance track from the early nineties and is mega successful. "95" link, despite the House character on Goldies "Timeless", is probably the most rudimentary employed, female vocal. Vocal Lastig the plate is incidentally about 50/50, but it is other than "95" only with men decked out vocals. Jonathan Mendelson has just a einprägende voice makes here a lot.

Also on board are of course also two older hits ("Cold Drink, Hot Girl, Star Strings"), but they are so timeless that belong to the album with it. JW is too long while now submit to the absolute Umpuster, yet "Trails We Blaze" one of my Favourites for this year, no Technoattitüde, no nerve Trance with zersteubenden ladies singing. Just reluctant poet progressive sound like I just love him from the UK. And you realize the man has already had his fingers everywhere. And again a deep bow to the UK, that my love for dance music again kindled.
